The markup language (XML application) Information Flow Framework (IFF) was designed to be a freely available standard. Therefore, the DTDs and grammars are not protected by copyright and may be copied freely. The language definition draft documents are copyright, but any non-commercial use is allowed. If you would like to ask any questions about a particular use of the language or documents, or you would like use the code for a purpose outside of the its license, please contact The Ontology Consortium (TOC).

Ontologos is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development, promotion and use of ontologies for various communities in a distributed setting. Ontologos is also leading the development of the Information Flow Framework.
